According to the Akron Beacon Journal, actor Matt Damon will be playing for the Cavaliers next year. He signed a four-year contract worth $16M, and has also starred in such hits as “Good Will Hunting” and “The Bourne Supremacy”.
We’ve really liked everything new GM Danny Ferry has done so far, but this strikes us as a bit odd. Ben Affleck is taller. Vince Vaughn is taller. As much as Cleveland needs a point guard, the team desperately needs some inside help with Varejao down for the start of the year. This is all in addition to the fact that as far as we know, Matt Damon has never played in the NBA before. They should have signed Damon Jones.
