Milwaukee was sitting on the #1 pick in the draft this summer, and used it on the most dominant big-man to enter the NBA since former Buck Lew Alcindor himself. Andrew Bogut of Utah sports not only a flawless game, but a flawless nickname, as well.
He’ll team with shooting guard Michael Redd, who shunned bigger money offers elsewhere to play in a better situation with the Bucks. T.J. Ford returns after missing a few games last year with a minor ankle injury.
Along with Redd, the Bucks also resigned PF/C Dan Gadzuric to a short, risk-free deal, and brought in former LA Clipper Bobby Simmons to fill a glaring hole at small forward. Desmond Mason also plays for the Bucks.
The Bucks won’t repeat what they did last year. They’ve made a few changes and look to slip a bit from their previous dominance, but they’ll still be good enough to be away from the golf courses until late May.
Predicted record: 49-33
