WHO SHOT MAMBA IPHONE

Tony Allen is in trouble

by The Cavalier on September 7, 2005

TonyAllen.jpgThe nicely redesigned Celticsblog gives the rundown on the latest with Tony Allen’s little shooting predicament. The following comes from the Boston Herald’s account, and on the surface it appears pretty bad, but let’s come back to that after a good look:

Marktwain Johnson, shot in the left side and arm early in the morning of Aug. 28 at Chicago’s White Palace Grill, claims the unidentified shooter — an alleged member of Allen’s entourage — responded after Allen pointed to Johnson and told the man to “(Expletive) him up.”

Nigel Odum, a companion of Johnson’s who also filed a civil suit against Allen yesterday, claims he was then punched by Allen. Odum was treated for a fractured left eye socket.

Allen was later seen running from the restaurant shortly after 3:30 a.m.

After reading that, our initial reaction of this looking “bad” is all wrong. This technically looks “horrible”, which is far worse than “bad”.

The big hole in this story is the one we’ll be watching closely, and that’s who is freaking out more, Allen himself or Boston fans.
