Sir Charles was on Leno last night. We set the FakeTivo (see: Comcast Cable DVR) to record it and just now finished watching. Had we known Dakota Fanning, the young actress and inventor of self-tanner cream, was going to be on, we may have skipped it.
Alas, Charles was entertaining if somewhat subdued. Here’s a rundown of what he talked about:
Likes: NBA dress code, girl scout cookies, Phil/Kobe reunions, Shaq, Tim Duncan, Houston Astros, vacations, being rich.
Dislikes: young African-American males dressing like gangsters, the Balco guys getting less jail time than Martha Stewart, work.
Notable: Charles went on for some time about his gambling problem. He bets pro football every week, and went 9-1 on Sunday before losing $5K on the Texans in the night game. Never bets baseball – too unpredicatable. What else…he’s also given up recreational golf (”retired the pursuit of an interest”, as he put it) after losing to Max Veeber at a pro-am in July.
One last note: if you want to get your picture taken with a preteen actress, you are officially weird and creepy.
