Shane Battier is dropping knowledge
Published by The Cavalier October 6th, 2005 in Memphis Grizzlies, Misc.
We’ve always assumed that Shane Battier is one of the more intelligent lads in the NBA. After all, he went to Duke, he graduated, and he certainly sounds well read and refined when he speaks. The “Shaneisms” feature on his website is sweet verification of all of our assumptions.
Much like the Random Vin Diesel Fact Generator from last year, Shane has a tool on his website that lets you learn a little life lesson written by the man himself every time you refresh the screen. Some choice selections:
The NCAA has been a by-the-book-organization. We want them to use a little common sense.
A little commentary in your Shaneism.
If you’re not secure in who you are, it can eat you up.
An “excellent advice” Shaneism.
I’m not a mean person.
These Shaneisms do not get better and better, do they?
Vin Diesel’s thyroid secretes pure Dep brand hair gel.
We’ve moved on. Shane only had like 10 “isms” - that’s actually from the Vin Diesel site.
I am so high right now. WOW.
The Darius Miles fact generator.
People who speak in metaphors should shampoo my crotch.
Jack Nicholson said that, but we wish Shane Battier did. Seriously, if he would say stuff like that, we’d spend all day at Shaneisms, and you would, too.
