Jamie and the crew at Sportsbloggers Live had an interview with Ron Artest last night, in which the Indiana Pacer fully exposes himself as what we term a “rational/crazy”. That’s someone who is clearly crazy, yet puts it forth in a manner that makes it seem perfectly normal and logical.

He also freestyled for them a bit, although they did not request “best friend” status, so we aren’t too jealous. Some Artestian lyrics:

“I’m feastin’ again, you think I won’t make it, I’m gonna grab the whole rap game and bend it and break it;

Because its hip-hop, yeah, raw and uncut, pores smell like residue from sticky icky stuff, slip some Mickey in my cup;

Get pound out quick, roundhouse kicks, blood on your nice kicks, its hard for me to shoot bricks, easy to shoot pricks, flow got a high kick;

Just like Bruce, kid, maybe Chuck Norris, record sales taken off like flights departin’, and you just survivin’ cause your songs is garbage…”

You really need to listen for yourself to fully appreciate just how bad this is. Ron is also seemingly out of breath for the entire 14 minute interview. It’s excellent, even though they didn’t ask Ron what he thinks of Kobe’s tights, as we requested. That was probably for the best anyway - we tend to think it would have confused the hell out of him.
