DJ Psycho is going Philly on the Pepsi Center

by The Cavalier on December 2, 2005

DJ Psycho.jpgChampagne has up his review of the Nuggets Dancers, who somehow avoided being called the “Nugg-ettes”. The ladies, who overall get a positive review, aren’t the craziest thing happening at the Pepsi Center 41 times per year, though. No, that would be the music presented by none other than DJ Psycho. You know, for the kids.

Because Nuggets’ games are family events, DJ Bedz and DJ Psycho can’t play everything. And much of what the team listens to would not be appropriate.

“A lot of the stuff I listen to they’d have to go to Target for…they’d have to find the joint with the sticker on it.” Kenyon Martin, who was listening to Scarface prior to tip-off, knows that game-time music must be pre-edited for explicit content.

“It’s a very family oriented atmosphere.” And so [Psycho] spends the off-season, “making edits…and chopping up songs…”

Or bodies. Nothing says family fun quite like the “Fcuk” hat, does it? Psycho, who is a local Denver radio host, also lays it down at Colorado Avalanche games and is totally hard-core.
