Kevin McHale is after that
Published by The Cavalier December 29th, 2005 in Indiana Pacers, Minn. T-Wolves, Rumors, Trades
Kevin regrets his night outTimberwolves GM Kevin McHale is notoriously coy about his team’s moves, but with all the trade talk flying around about a certain individual, there’s really no way to avoid a little trade speculation regarding said certain individual. The Wolves are having a decent season, and a little help could push them closer to contender status.
“You either develop it or trade for it,” McHale said. “Unless you’re waiting for next summer. We definitely do need more scoring punch. Our defense has been solid. But some of those tough losses pile up on a team a little bit. You can tend to lose your confidence. We do need another scoring option for this team. A lot of guys here, individually, have to pick it up, too. [But] it would be nice to add that. You’re always looking to add that.”
All signs say Ron Artest is the “that” Mr. McHale is referring to, unless “that” is syphilis, in which case this isn’t the type of thing an NBA GM should be talking to the press about. Just in case it is, we did some searching, and there’s no solid info when looking for “NBA syphilis”. So, either the TWolves are trying to get Ron Artest or Kevin McHale has syphilis - either way, it sounds pretty grim for Minnesota fans.
