Maybe Ron is crazy like a fox. It seems he’s got a paid vacation. He can concentrate on his rap career on the Pacers dime. So who’s hurting here? Ron or the Pacers? They have a diminished team. Until Jermaine O’Neal has won something, maybe it is unwise to let him call the shots. Chuck Daley and Phil Jackson let Rodman be Rodman and it paid off. We are not all made from the same cookie cutter mold. History should tell the Pacers that a little locker room conflict could be a winning brew. There was Reggie Jackson sparring in Oakland and New York that culminated in world championships.Neither the ABA or NBA has seen the hoist the trophy.

Give me a break, dude. I give enough money to the NBA to judge whomever I damn well please. And, as was noted earlier in the thread, Artest spoke out publically regarding his situation, just as Magic did which is further justification for anyone to criticize, compliment, etc. Bottom line is that Artest is a crazy sob. Can’t believe after all this drama and pissing off his current teammates he’s decided he wants to stay.

Violence and disregard for authority is a social delinquent problem of American society.
