Ron Artest has been fined ten grand for requesting his trade, which is one of the dumbest things ever. This has given Greg Anthony and Stephen A so much opportunity to fill NBA Hangtime with content and also to continue to flirt on-air.
”Public trade demands by players was a subject discussed at length during collective-bargaining negotiations this summer,” Rick Buchanan, the NBA’s senior vice president and general counsel, said in a statement. ”The damage caused by these kinds of statements was commonly understood, as was the NBA’s intention to hold players accountable for such statements going forward.”
We’ve never heard of Rick Buchanan, so back to important stuff – are Greg Anthony and Stephen A Smith having an affair? There are certainly plenty of Smith rumors, but we’ve never heard anything about Greg, who’s Carmelo’s cousin, which could indicate nothing at all. There’s so much passion (and touching) when they do their back and forth though – is it basketball passion or Brokeback Mountain passion?
