The NBA trade that fixes everything

It’s all coming together now. Changes will surely happen in New York, and Larry Bird is feeling betrayed by Ron Artest, so you know something is definitely happening there.

“I think enough is enough,” Bird said. “I think Ronnie will do fine but not here.”

“I don’t know if this is the right wording, but I felt betrayed,” Bird said of Artest. “We’re disappointed. Things happen; maybe it’s a good thing. He’s a very talented player. I always liked working with him and how he went about things on the basketball court. He’s a top-12 player in the league, but we’re in a situation where we have to move on.”

Larry’s not the kind to just say things like that. Artest is moving. Lots of teams want him. The NBA landscape is weird right now and the trade rumor and speculation is running all nuts really early. We’re not one to spread rumors unless it’s about Steph saying he loves balling more than he loves his family, so we’re going to sweep up all these trade scenarios into the biggest, most effective trade ever. Read on to see the first ever 23-team, 30something-player trade.

To Denver: Ron Artest
To Seattle: Kwame Brown, Michael Doleac
To Indiana: Damon Stoudamire, Theo Ratliff
To Sacramento: Al Harrington
To Portland: the first two seasons of Entourage on DVD
To Dallas: Jalen Rose, Stomile Swift, birthday cake!
To Detroit: Gary Payton’s rights, cash
To Toronto: 14 first round picks, Nomar Garciaparra
To Cleveland: Charlie Villanueva, 4 2nd-rounders
To Utah: Denzel Washington, Quentin Richardson
To Orlando: Vlad Radmanovic, Weblogs, Inc. stock options
To PHX: Channing Frye, Subway gift certificates
To Minnesota: Carlos Boozer, Penny Hardaway’s hightop fade
To Warriors: Ron Artest, a blender
To LA Clippers: Mike Dunleavy, Jr., cash, Mavs season tickets
To LA Lakers: Ron Artest, Nene, XBox360
To Washington: Peja, Marcus Banks, YAYsports!
To San Antonio: Stephon Marbury, Billy Ocean
To Boston: the rest of the Knicks
To Miami: Ruben Patterson, magic beans
To Chicago: Chris Wilcox, a panda
To New Jersey: Ben Gordon, Nelly
To Charlotte: Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, candy hearts

This all works under the cap, too. Except for Ron Artest playing for three different teams, it’s toally claen and makes sense for everyone.

Your trade is totally unrealistic. There’s no WAY that Isiah is letting a trade of that magnitude go down without the Knicks acquiring a couple overpriced SFs.

The Cavalier,

This trade would never happen. Sacramento is not moving Peja, and they’re not firing Coach Adelman, either.

Ask Geoff Petrie.

He’ll tell ya.

Totally unrealistic! Artest must go to at least 5 teams.
