Charley Rosen still hates Kobe

A new era…a better eraWe’ve bashed Kobe Bryant pretty consistantly since coming onboard here, and even we were somewhat touched to see him and Shaq make up last night, even if it was probably fairly superficial. It was nice though, and on top of that, we got to see a good game.
Charley Rosen is a different story, though. He took the opportunity this morning to lay out everything bad about the Lakers, Shaq, last night’s game, tomorrow’s games, the Holocaust, Fruit Roll-ups, global warming, and American Idol. His greatest scorn, as always, is left for poor Kobe, who was dominant, AND whose team won the game.
At the same time, [Kobe’s] defense is getting worse and worse. He reacted passively to every screen set in his vicinity — making no effort to get through, get over, or even get under. Whenever possible, Kobe leaned into the passing lanes. If he did intercept one pass, he also lost a pair of gambles that directly led to one basket scored by the bad guys as well as a foul being called on Kwame Brown.
Throughout the game, Wade obliterated Bryant’s faux defense on fourteen separate occasions.
Fourteen separate occasions? That’s a lot we guess, but who counts “occasions on which Dwyane Wade obliterates the opponent’s faux defense”? Is that a stat?
How about this one? We counted Rosen’s entire writing resume, and 154% of the articles were about hating Kobe Bryant. That’s not even possible, so you can see how serious it is.

Well, I’m not defending Rosen… but I keep track of Wade’s obliteration of defenses, both faux and real. Maybe it’s just cause he’s on my fantasy team.
He’s 7.8 and 5.4, respectively, for the season.
Rosen’s Celtics analysis obliterates 5.2% of my brain cells everytime I read it.
People talk about the Celtics still?
Only the vultures who try to steal away our big talent, like Blount.
You’ll never have him MINNI, he’s all ours! You hear me?
what about the % of articles hating lebron? gotta be nearly as high as % hating kobe articles.
Yeah, but going back to Rosen’s ESPN2 days…the guy made his current career path hating on Kobe.
