I’m NICE!Finally, a treaty has been drawn up in the scandalous battle of wills between the Davises and the Axelrods. We were hoping to see a fistfight of some sort, but it in the end, “being sensible” won out once again.
In a joint statement released Monday, Michael Axelrod and the Davises said the episode evolved from “some simple misunderstandings.”
“Common sense strongly suggests that we collectively put this episode behind us and move on. That’s what the Davises and Michael Axelrod plan to do, and we hope everyone else will, as well,” the statement read.
It’s not often we describe something as laughable, so we won’t do it here either. The fact is Michael Axelrod is balding. He’s balding fast and he’s balding hard. For god’s sake, if this guy doesn’t get into a fistfight with an NBA player’s wife soon, he’ll never get his chance.
We need to set aside all of this silly reasonablocity and for once in our lives – just once – stand up for a man’s right to look 40 when he’s only 22. As Will Smith said in Independence Day, “Welcome to Earf.”
