Princess Zara say YIKES!The more we hear about Kendra Davis, the more we like her less than we did before we heard the last thing. Another game-day incident can be found on our very own comments section, from Toronto reader Andrew.

I was courtside at a Raps/Sixers game a few years back and there was a woman behind me making a racket at the players for the whole game. Eventually Tyrone Hill came flying into the stands (and me) after a loose ball. The play was called and this woman got right in Hill’s face and started letting him have it, wagging her finger. It was Davis’ wife.

Shortly after someone was shooting a foul shot at our end and Davis, lined up on the key, turned around and mouthed words, effectively saying “shut your mouth now.”

There – even Antonio knows the woman has a problem, which puts what he did the other night in a whole new light. Perhaps he wasn’t going up there to protect Kendra at all – maybe he was going to protect Michael Axelrod from his wife’s wagging finger.

Nothing for nothing , it’s a mans duty to stand up for his wife .
If one were to see a fan getting into an altercation with his wife ,the RIGHT thing to do would be to get in between it . Sure he violated the rule ,but lets face it ,A MAN’S GOTTA DO WHAT A MAN’S GOTTA DO !We should really be looking at the fans behavior and why HE could not control his self while dealing with a WOMAN,with KIDS no less. Ball players are just people and deserve the same respect as everyone else else.

Where did I say that what Antonio did was wrong?

i don’t get why people say he was standing up for his wife… he went into the stands to make sure his psycho wife didn’t end up in jail after assaulting someone

AD should take the $852,000 he’s losing out of her allowance

I ain’t saying she’s a gold digger……………

I know Kendra Davis well from high school. We had our own confrontation our senior year. She is out of control and she has treated people like they are beneath her getting all pissed off and acting the way she does. She deserves all this coming to her. What goes around, comes around!

Being a basketball player doesn’t make you exempt from being human – it’s just a job…like i’m a RE agent and maybe you’re a waitress, or school teacher. Your family is your family no matter what your JOB is. That’s human instinct to react if you think someone who is important to you is in harms way…maybe once they found out that the situation wasn’t as it seemed they could’ve suspended AD’s wife from a few games since she seems to have a problem (yet there are two sides to every story)…AD should definitely check his wife, let her know to act like she’s got some sense when they’re out in public…feel me?!

Kendra Davis has no class and has no respect for anyone. She obviously provokes people into confrontations, which are well documented. The latest is her throwing a hot cup of coffee at another driver on the freeway, while driving with no valid license, but yet again it was not her fault – she claims the other motorist used a racial epithet, guaranteed her excuse came about as a ploy to blame someone else for her classless behavior.

I worked at a hair salon in Indianapolis that she frequented, when AD was a Pacer and I have to say that she was always very nice. The stylist she went to worked next to me and I never remember her acting in any other way. Her behavior now is unfortunate but there is always two sides to every story. I think the bigger issue is that in the 21 st. century we are still using race as a playing card to ok borish and unacceptable behavior.

There is always 2-sides to a story. I also met Kendra in Indianapolis during she & Antonio’s tenure with the Pacers. She approached me as a very friendly person. I also never heard any incident ans she was a business owner in Indianapolis. I feel they are getting bad publicity via the media. Although, this does not justify a person actions and use of self-control, however, I was not there to witness any of the incidents. I wish them the best!

If you REALLY want to play the “race” card, watch the video of Kendra (as she talks to the guy) waving and gesturing with her hands IN HIS FACE. In interviews, she ever-so-innocently explains how she’s just telling the guy to calm down. Now, we all know that violating our personal space is grounds for a beat-down. If that had been a BLACK man or woman, Kendra would have been “checked.” I’m not saying the guy wasn’t an a$$hole, but Kendra shouldn’t have been putting her hands in his face NOR touching him. She very clearly contributed to and provoked that situation. Her behavior was out-of-line just as much as the guy’s profanity. She crossed some lines she shouldn’t have, and Antonio, not privy to the details, blindly went to defend is wife. Antonio was doing what any MAN would do. However, his WIFE needs to realize that she is not some bad-assed, round-the-way, sista’-girl. If she continues to play that role, someone, someday, will teach her a hard lesson.
