I would say that the KG commercials make a little more sense in that KG has all those aspects as a PLAYER as well as a person. Lebron's game is multi-facted for sure, don't get me wrong. But is he a wise old man on the court? I don't think so. Or a self-absored brat? Not at all. So far he's proven to be a wildly talented, exciting, awesome man-child of a team player/superstar. And incredibly likable. I think his commericals play off that very well. But I think KG's play off a deeper truth about who he really is. BTW: Can you tell I'm a KG fan? I like them both, too. "Let's take different aspects of this player's personality and make them into independent characters." That describes both of them perfectly. The execution is far different in each, and I like them both a lot. I like the LeBrons one better and that's likely biased because of being a Cleveland fan, as well. Kind of amazing, actually. All those crazy visuals (how'd they do that curtain?!) but, with the music, you walk away thinking about the player, not the effects. Made me actually like the guy. Kevin Garnett as stand-up comedian has a lot of potential, but not with the little tinkle music in the background. Could be just because I like to mkae a joke out of everything but it's what I think.
