As if the Knicks don’t have enough problems, they got hammered last night by the Hawks. Following the degrading loss to a team with only 12 wins on the year, Larry Brown accused the team of quitting in the second half.
Not all of his awesome players agree with that.
“We didn’t compete at all as far as trying to win the game,” said Stephon Marbury…
Maurice Taylor was stunned at Brown’s quitting assertion.
“Throwing in the towel, that’s ludicrous,” Taylor said. “It’s a bad game granted. It’s too bad of a conference to do that. We have [39] games to go. No reason for us to quit.”
“Throwing a towel” is a phrase. “Ludacris” is a rapper/actor. Maybe Maurice isn’t so far off base if you read this MTV headline, however.
Thank god Donyell Marshall wasn’t at the game. Maurice might have been so distracted the Knicks could’ve lost by 190 instead of 19. At least they get a break when Kobe Bryant arrives on the biggest stage in pro basketball tonight.

Like we’re going to take your definition of ludicrous seriously, Henry. You didn’t even spell your name right. It’s not with a -ik, it’s with a -y.
Spell check! Gosh!!!
That’s just ludicrous!
