We almost forgot there’s another semi-final game today, Kevin Garnett and Tracy McGrady need to play on the other side of the bracket.
This should be another close one, unless there’s some overly aggressive, irrational Timberwolves or Rockets blog out there. Really though, this one isn’t as clear cut as LBJ/PP. It’s pretty much a toss-up. Who wants it more and who gets the ball first?
Don’f forget to go vote for LeBron. CLICK for THE bracket.

Well, the great bandwidth crisis of 7-10am is over at last…this day will always be remembered as this day.
After a close battle throughout yesterday afternoon, Allen Iverson pulled away in the end to beat Chris Bosh, taking 58% of the vote. We’re not going to comment on the results, lest we enrage another of our readers like this one from yesterday:
you pricks. if you don’t want people to vote just so you can declare who’s going to win the matchups, then don’t hold polls.
We actually appreciated that quite a bit – you’re not doing a good job unless someone hates you and calls you names.
Today we get what could be a classic 12-5 upset. It could also be a classic 5-12 beatdown. Either way, let that YAYsports! backlash begin!
Here’s the bracket in its latest itineration.

How can this race be so close? T-Mac’s back for sure would have given out after the 1-on-1 games he played to make it this far.
Um, “who wants it more”?
Garnett: Mr. Intensity, actually cried in a Jim Gray interview over how disappointed he was with the Wolves’ record last year.
McGrady: Maybe the only player in the bracket (other than Vince Carter) who would quit in the middle of the game if the calls weren’t going his way. Seriously, who posts a career season at age 23, and then just stops trying?
My prediction: Garnett 11, Tracy 5. See you in the Finals, LBJ!
You’re absolutely right. The only people who want it more than KG are his fans.
Yeah but McGrady can be unstoppable in spurts and this type of tourney is one of those short term goals he could stay focused for.
Nope. KG would still win.
“That is the best I have ever been defended in my life. In my life.”
- Tracy McGrady after Flip Saunders decided to have Kevin Garnett guard Tracy McGrady in a Magic-Wolves game a couple years back.
Yeah, TMac has offensive spurts. But I think KG’s routine offense would be impossible for TMac to stop.
