ESPN’s Sports Guy has put up his “Big Picture”, in which he kind of takes a stroll around the league, drops a few pop culture references, and puts it all out there in terms of who’s got a shot at what.
Say what you want about Simmons, but the man loves the NBA, and we always look forward to these types of columns from him. He covers every team right up until the top seven, which one could assume are the teams with an actual chance.
As for the aforementioned top-seven…
7. Cleveland
6. Phoenix
5. L.A. Clippers
4. Miami
3. San Antonio
2. Dallas
1. Detroit…the teams in that group deserve their own column.
(And they will get one. I promise.)
What if he doesn’t finish? What if he’s a lying liar? What if he’s like us and never finishes what he starts?
What if he abandons this whole thing like we abandoned our baby, the BPR? Yes, for the time being, we’ve ceased running the BPRs. Since zero readers have emailed in to make note of it, we have to assume it was the right idea.
We may pick it up again at some point, but for now, there’s just no time to promote it how we’d like. We considered letting another site pick it up, but the deal couldn’t be worked out.
We loved that BPR…we loved it like nobody else…we loved it in ways we shouldn’t have, and that’s how it became a screwed up, bastardized version of itself. Goodbye, BPR…good-bye, and we hope you continue to bring in .02 per day from those Google Ads.
(Seriously, we really do love it and plan to bring it back sometime in the future. We’re pretty A.D.D, though – this whole site could just up-and-die one day because we decide we want to go work on a farm or be an astronaut or something.)

What, so now you’re threatening your readers to send emails, post comments and shower adulation and adoration otherwise *shock* the Cav might just get bored with us and up and leave? Sneaky trick. Sneaky sneaky sneaky. Like you REAAALLY have anything better to do than to entertain the legions.:)
That said, readers please comment away and send a spam a day to the Cav account…I would really be pretty depressed if I didn’t have his sick brand of NBA humor to start and end my day.

Polyphasic started and then I accidentally slept for like 7 hours and it was all screwed up. I’m starting over Sunday night.
I was actually wondering what happened to the BPR, I initially thought there was just a delay, but now I know. What’s the deal? Bring it back, y’all!
