A little post Valentine’s Day burst of explosive force for you today, basically because we have a few things to say and nowhere else to say them.
First of all, if you’ve been following this Dick Cheney thing, then you’ve been following it. We haven’t been that closely, but last night we were out with a beautiful and charming young lady, and heard the funniest line related to this whole thing come out of her mouth:
“I come from a town where everyone hunts and any hunter will tell you that at some point they’ve shot one of their friends.”
I’m never, ever going to her town. Ever. We did have a wonderful evening, however.
What else did we do besides discuss accidental manslaughter? Well, we saw Brokeback Mountain, which everyone calls the “gay cowboy movie”. That makes no sense to us – they’re sheephearders.
That’s actually all we had to say – that hunting quote was too good to not put up somehow.
Oops, we remember what else we wanted to hit on – the SI Swimsuit issue is out. The cover has a kind of All-Star line-up of past models. Maybe she’s too busy selling home goods, but where’s Kathy Ireland?
In our eyes, she’s hands down the best ever. Anyone remember this cover?
