We had put a self-imposed ban on ourselves from Cavaliers posting for the rest of the week, lest anyone think we have a real-life man-crush on LeBron James, but the team has joined in the fun of trade-making day by…making a trade.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired Ronald ‘Flip’ Murray from the Seattle SuperSonics in exchange for little-used guard Mike Wilks, a second-round pick and $500,000, ESPN.com has learned.
Works for us – Flip put up big numbers when Ray Allen was down a couple years ago. Any additional scoring off the bench means good things, ie less Damon Jones. If LeBron slides over to the point for short stretches, this should be fine.
Two side notes – 1) We have plenty of emails already about a Lamar Odom-to-the-Cavs rumor. It’s not happening is our guess. 2) If someone will take out our downstairs neighbor and his drum set, we’ll pay handsomely. He’s really super excited about his band today!
UPDATE: We got Lee Nailon again, too. Look at Danny Ferry filling the bench up with quick points!

Wait. Did they just give us Nailon for free? Or possibly pay us a second round pick to take him (depending on the conditions of the pick we’re sending them)?
I’m not sure – seems like we’re swapping 2nd round picks, but we might be sending one of those to Seattle for Flip. I’ve never been good at tracking this stuff. I also read on the Insiders Cavs board that Cleveland radio is saying Nailon will be cut, so who knows what this was all about.
Ok, if you guys don’t post anything about the ROYAL BLUE tights Kobe is sporting tonight, I may lose faith.
Black had an air of “Maybe they won’t notice them.”
Blue says, “I wear tights. I’m a man, and I wear hose. I want you to see my hose. They’re blue. I’m color-coordinated. Look at them, in all their splendor. I am Mamba, see my hose.”
On second thought, and after a debate with a friend, that color may be that bluish-purple on the jerseys, but I’m not convinced.
I was at the game tonight..and the first thing I noticed were the tights. Obviously Kobe is trying to reclaim his crown as the King of Tights from Bron, Bron.
