Paul Pierce 1.jpg Pretty damn Exhausting, huh?

Cavs-Celtics and LeBron James-Paul Pierce have made for a great but tiring evening of basketball action. The Cavaliers took out a gritty Celtics team on the road 113-109 in double overtime.

LeBron’s line: 43 points on 50% shooting, 12 boards, 11 assists, 4 blocks, and 2 steals.

PP’s line: 50 points on just under 50%, 7 rebounds, 8 assists.

Great battle, great game. If Pierce would put the time in to shed that babyfat, he’d have scored 65. We’ll cede the 1-on-1 war to our friends at Celticsblog, as with less than two hours to go and over 1,400 votes cast…the Truth has pulled away.

We’ll be on AOL Sportbloggers Live tomorrow morning to talk more about the game, explain why LeBron is still better that Paul, and further expound on why the All-Star 1-on-1 Challenge is not just some silly thing we did for kicks, but something we very seriously think needs to be adopted by the NBA for All-Star Saturday night.
