Isiah Thomas should be in jail

Things are so bad with the Knicks that people are now putting considerable time and effort into mocking GM Isiah Thomas. First there was Sportszilla’s Isiah song, and now there’s a movement afoot to actually have the man thrown in jail.

Whether it’s simply a ploy to sell t-shirts or something else, the site spells out its reasons clearly, and it’s really pretty convincing.

Seriously, what would you say if Cablevision increased their payroll from $83M to $125M — only to bring you noticeably worse cable service? Now let’s say the President of Cablevision tells you not to worry; that he was just stockpiling cable employee talent; that he knew the expensive new employees wouldn’t improve your service all along, but that he has a grand plan to trade them for higher quality cable employees down the road. Please. How would you respond to this?

The problem here is were not sure if that’s actually a crime. Sounds more like one of those civil suits that 40 million people sign and get 75 cents out of.

There’s much more satisfaction with that option, isn’t there? Plus, the website name is way easier to remember than “Jail Isiah!” Not that we actually want any of this to go down – being a Cavalier fan and a blogger, we love every move Isiah has made.

Interesting sidenote – take a look at what a Google search for “Isiah Thomas stupid” gives you. Maybe that’s a sign Mr. Dolan should be looking at other options at GM?
