Kevin Garnett’s Saturday night scolding of his team didn’t help much last night, as the T-Wolves lost again to the Clippers.
Not only did they lose, but they let Chris Kaman put up 24 points and grab 23 rebounds. KG isn’t sure what to make of it, but he doesn’t like having to kick his team’s ass just to get some effort.
“I don’t want to call it babysitting, but I don’t like always having to ‘go there,’ ” Garnett said. “We’re all professionals and we’re all men. It was only a select few, but we’re a team.”
“It was great coming from Kevin; he really wants to win,” guard Ricky Davis said. “If Mark Blount would have come in and said something, it probably would have happened again.”
Some people say Ricky Davis is a bit of a loose cannon, some people say he has children with panda bears, and still others say things like “what purpose did calling out Mark Blount like that serve?”
We’re all for calling out Blount at all times, but how does Ricky’s head work that makes that particular statement come out at that moment?
Furthermore, look at how KG’s thumb bends backward. That’s nuts! Is that why he’s so good at basketball? Hopefully the BDP doesn’t have that – don’t forget to vote again; it’s a new day, with new dreams.
