ALL KNICKS, ALL THE TIME.

We imagined all kinds of scenarios for how the big Knicks-Hawks showdown could go, and the one that actually played out wasn’t one we could ever conceive of.

Double overtime, and the Knicks win…behind the play of their kids on the bench. Steph and the gang sat the entire fourth and both extra periods. The most interesting thing to come out it all? All Harrington, Atlanta Hawks free-agent to be, first said this.

“It’s crazy when you get to this point in the season and you’re kind of playing for nothing,” said Harrington, who made the playoffs every season in his first six years with Indiana. “It’s been tough.”

Can someone explain how that fits in with this?

“The Knicks are definitely one of the teams I’ll be looking at. This would be a great situation,” Harrington said.

There’s no way Isiah will be able to resist giving Al a max contract via a sign-and-trade of all his young talent. It’s gonna happen, and things will get even more spectacular in NY.

What’s amazing is that last night we saw what the Knicks should be doing, minus the $70M in starters they had benched. Play the kids, dump salary, pick up key free agents with the cap space. That’s rebuilding, right?

Does Marbury get benched? NY media is speculating they may even buy him out, although that does nothing for the cap space. One more thing – Cavs fans – just stop it right now.

Marbury in a Cavs uniform would be awesome. Well, not so much for the Cavs but for every team in the league that isn’t the Cavs. And for anyone who wants to see LeBron not want to play for the Cavs. And for anyone who wishes Danny Ferry were homeless and sleeping in a rolled up carpet under a bridge.
