The Cavs and Heat are going at it tomorrow, and we’re pumped. This has been an up-and-down season for the Cavaliers, but when one looks at the past three seasons, it’s hard not to see growth and a bright future.

The team has won six in a row, and if they can get past Miami tomorrow, they could win a bunch in a row after that, especially with Larry Hughes returning to practice yesterday.

Larry Hughes is expected to take part in a practice today for the first time since December. Doctors cleared him Tuesday to resume full workouts with his repaired right middle finger. Hughes could return to games in a week or so.

“Everything is healed, it is a matter of keeping the swelling down and getting ready to play,'’ Hughes said. “I was cleared to do whatever my body can do, and it feels good.'’

Big question we have - can the Cavs win 50 games? They need to go 8-3 over their last eleven games to get there.
We’re realistic enough to know we’re not going to win 11 games (and therefore 17) in a row to finish the season, so we’ll drop the obvious ones at Jersey and at Detroit.

That said, we actually think they’ll win both of those games and lose two other ones - likely the Charlotte and Atlanta games.

Let’s go with 9-2 down the way, however it falls into place. That’s a 51-win season. Enough for an MVP for LBJ…? Yeah, but doubtful, unless PHX and Dallas totally crash in April, which probably won’t happen.

The only sure things in reality are those two games against New York, and then all the rest of the games, also. Cavaliers are going 11-0 the rest of the way, then stampeding to a second round matchup with Detroit, which they’ll lose 4-0, crushing all the hope and happiness you just read in this post.
