Let’s make it short. Mary Hartz – dead. BlookSpot – dead. Hey Deer – dead. Trollr.net – dead before it was ever birthed.

All the future plans to build a blog empire – dead, dead, dead. Truth be told, “blog empire” was a secondary option, and is no longer in play or necessary. Simple as that. YAYsports! will live on, both because we love it, and we also love 86% of you. The 14% we don’t love are all in the running to become our mortal enemy.

Oh, and the JenWatch guy gets to stick around, simply because we’re addicted to his saga/plight.

One more thing – the panda quit, so we’ll be overhauling that blog and using it for something else soon. What does all of this mean for you? Nothing, unless you were desperately looking forward to the return of Hey Deer, like the BDP, who sent this in yesterday:

Hey deer,

i know we’ve had our differences and you’re in recovery, but i have an important question. I have an interview with The Hartford this Tuesday. They pay really well, but they had all those gay commercials during March Madness with the deer that walks into the gym and then everyone kinda just stands there, looking at it like they’re hungry. Anyways, my question is, do you know that deer? and could he help me get the job?

Well, you idiot, if you never figured it out, there was no fucking Deer. It was us the whole time. We even told you that at our basketball game.

Jesus – good luck getting a job anywhere. Maybe you should bring your sister to the interview and she can speak for you?

ESPN’s Chris Broussard is coming around to LeBron for MVP. We’re telling you – a meaningless victory at Detroit Wednesday will swing the momentum right into Cleveland.

Stan McNeal is moving him up, too, and ties it into 50 wins.

One more note – we’re not actually the panda, but we did do the typing for her. EXPLOSIONS will probably get a little more esoteric in nature, also.
