As you may remember, Sonia was crowned our YAYsports! Person of the Year SomethingSomething and Something – we don’t feel like looking it up – it was some nonsensical title that was surely hilarious at the time, and has only aged with grace and style.
Also aging with grace and style is Sonia herself, who celebrates a birthday on this very day. To celebrate, we’re not going to post any quotes from this recap of her beloved Timberwolves’ season. Let’s just say that when anything to do with Mark Blount falls into your “positives”, things ain’t pretty.
Sonia, on the other hand, is very pretty, as you can see on this birthday card that was sent in last night by a reader.
Sonia, thanks once again for going above and beyond in your duties as First Lady of YAYsports!, and we remind you once again that we are indeed “boyishly handsome.”
