LeBron James is pissed

As far as we’re concerned, the NBA Playoffs are the best time in sports. We love it more than Super Bowls, March Madness, World Serieseses, and even youth soccer. All that’s without the Cavaliers playing and Spider-Man 3 filming in downtown Cleveland, so this year is even better.

We really have nothing to say that we didn’t cover in yesterday’s previews, and if you don’t think Elizabeth Hassleback getting boozed up at a cheap motel and helping to unleash Black Mamba explains how terrified excited we are, then you haven’t been reading long enough.

We can honestly say as a longtime Cleveland fan, we’ve never had one of our teams in the position the Cavaliers and LeBron are in. We’re not talking about them being in possession of home court advantage, or anything that happens on the court – we’re talking about them being the center of attention.

Back when the Indians were winning in the 90s, it was always, for example, the Yankees lost, not the Indians won. The Cleveland team was always there as some inantimate object. The other team would either win or choke. It’s a subtle difference, but being on the other side of it is odd, to say the least.

Anyway, everyone have fun for the next six weeks. Remember, Pissed LeBron is the scariest player in the world, and after one of the Cleveland writers picked the Wiz in six, the King refused to speak with the media yesterday.

(btw, it looks like Charlie Sheen is a big fan of youth soccer.)
