raef lafrentz.gifWe think we mentioned in EXPLOSIONS that the Celtics beat the Raptors last night. If we didn’t, guess what - it’s all true.

In addition to the big victory over Team Canada, Boston is rocking today with the level 10 earthquake of PF/C Raef LaFrentz getting moved to the bench, the latest in a series of role changes for one of the most dominant forces in the NBA.

After the game, he clearly wasn’t happy about it.

“What’s new?” LaFrentz said. “Adjusting to a different role. What the hell’s new? You know? That’s all I’ve got to say. What’s new?”

Asked last night if he was disturbed by the move to the second team, LaFrentz said, “I don’t give a (expletive). Whatever. I mean, why would I expect anything more? Why would I expect anything different from this group of coaches?”

We don’t know what to expect either, except constant coverage of this astoundingly shocking, mind-blowing, kill-and-eat-your-pets story from us.

You’re Raef LaFrentz, man. Get over it. Yeah, you make a lot of money and clearly were able to trick Ainge’s brain-typing analysts, but you’re an injury prone doof on a losing team. You doof. You’re doof. Haha, doof.

As for that thing about killing and eating your pets, don’t do that. That was something that spontaneously came out of our brain. We regret typing it even now as we type this sentence. That said, “hamster” is delicious - especially as a soup.

Thanks for calling out the goof.

Incidentally, aside from eating household pets, Raef also professes to being a huge DVD collector and being heavily interested in 2Pac and DMX. It’s gospel truth, check his Celtics.com profile.
