WHO SHOT MAMBA IPHONE

The Bucks are realistic

Most of the games were pretty competitive this weekend, save for the 1-8 matchups, which of course included the Pistons doing that “intense defense” thing they do and completely taking apart the Bucks piece by piece.

Michael Redd had eleven points, and we had an equal number of times we said things like “what are the Bucks doing?” or “do the Milwaukees have an offense they run?” or “Bogey-Man!!!”

Terry Stotts was able to sum things up in a simple, succinct manner.

Said Bucks coach Terry Stotts: “It seemed like when they wanted to turn up their defensive pressure, they did. They challenged a lot of our shots.”

Stotts also did the obligatory complaining about the refs, although some might say you have to actually approach the basket to get foul calls.

Our favorite play was (we think) late in the first half – (we think) TJ Ford was on the left wing, when some other Buck came out to set a pick. Ford deftly dribbled back and away from his teammate, causing said teammate to give up his pick-setting agenda. Then, under the pressure of Delk or someone else, he dribbled off his leg and into the backcourt.

We’re not saying that was representative of the entire game, as that was actually one of the better sets Milwaukee ran. And when we say “ran”, what we really meant is “ranned”, pronounced exactly how it’s spelled. Try saying it out loud to someone and see if they correct you or not. If they do, you’ve got a real friend. If not, you’ve either got a fake friend or a brother in bad grammarhood.
