For the record, we hate Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN radio. We only listen to it for like 3 minutes a day on our morning drive to the gym, but it’s often enough.
Between creepy metrosexual Mike Greenberg being creepy and ex-football player Mike Golic trying to drop knowledge on sports other than football, it’s just sucky.
Case in point, this morning. Golic is going on about the Nets and their 14th win in a row. The following is paraphrased.
“The Nets won their 14th in a row, and that sets up their heated battle for the third spot in the Eastern Conference with Cleveland tonight,” Golic spouted.
“The Cavs, of course, have finally made the playoffs, which could tilt things in their favor in terms of convincing LeBron James to stay.”
The funny thing about that is he got nothing right beyond the names of the teams.
1) The LeBron thing is just gay – most everybody has finally accepted he’s signing an extention this summer.
2) The Nets-Cavs game is tomorrow.
3) There’s no battle for the three seed. The Nets get it by virtue of winning their division.
On top of this, they do things like that weird marriage tourney.
We get that – they were trying to come up with a March Madness gimmick. We did the same thing with the Tar Heel – batted around a bunch of ideas and such. When the conclusion was reached that it all seemed kind of contrived and unYAY, we let it rest.
Which brings up another point – can you believe how much we rested yesterday? We were relaxing all day. You may have thought we were really busy with some other thing, or maybe working on some grand huge post of grandness, but the truth of the matter is we just didn’t feel like entertaining you. There – who’s whose enemy now?

Fred Carter of NBA TV just called Luke Jackson immortal….
I saw him once in Philly smoking a cig – I was 16 or something. It totally shattered me.
are there any mispelled words on this post?
