Two quickies here – one, Dwyane Wade probably has the most dynamic arial “poses” since Michael Jordan.
Two, if you’re wondering what all that Ranger Corps stuff was about this weekend, you obviously weren’t with us this weekend. If you were with us, you’d know we spent the entire weekend in a drunken stupor. The kind we haven’t experienced since way back in April of 06.
Three, the PHX is now down 2-1 to the Mavs, and we fully expect them to tie it up tonight. A Western Conference Final that doesn’t go seven just isn’t right. Okay, let’s EXPLODE some stuff.
Charley Rosen explains what’s wrong with the Pistons.
Pat Riley is predicting the Heat close it out tomorrow night.
Gilbert Arenas was one of 557 people arrested in Miami this weekend – his offense was the ever horrifying “standing there”.
The Wizznutzz response says it all – Holy Potted Meat!
Chad Ford predicts the Cavaliers will select UCLA’s Jordan Farmar in the draft. Can someone tell us if that’s good please?
LeBron’s high school friends aren’t at all surprised by anything he’s done so far in the NBA.
Every writer in Boston seems to want the Celtics to trade their pick, although one dude says “Who cares – they stink.”
Chris Bosh voices his opinion on what to do with the #1 pick in the draft.
The Kings may hire a WNBA coach.
Ron Artest celebrates by going to a pool party.
Larry Hughes loves strippers, and he’s not afraid to tell you in t-shirt form.

Regarding the Pistons’ coming downfall; not enough Prince guarding Wade, Flip never really had control, and Rasheed is less effective 1) cause of the ankle 2) which makes Chauncey trust him less 3)thus less touches in the post. Of course, Haslem, Walker, and Posey have been playing pretty good. And whichever rim the Pistons are shooting free throws at are actually 2 inches less in diameter than regulation.
Regarding Cavs draft; I’ll do a shameless ‘homer’ plug for the two MSU wings, Ager & Brown. Ager is probably better prepared now, and Brown has some serious dribbling and defending weaknesses, but Brown should end up a better player.
“Arenas was then taken into custody and charged with resisting without violence.”
Gilbert Arenas: the NBA’s answer to Mahatma Gandhi.
I wonder if the police report states what the cop whispered in Arenas’ ear…
Artest: “Y’all seen the leprecaun?”
the latest on ron artest is that he’ll be a front act for anothee rapper for a series of concerts .
he now have a travelling bus painted with his the likeness of his face . like a travelling country star.
the maloofs don’t know what they got themselves into.
You could do worse than Farmar
I grew up with Farmar and watched him all through high school and college. I can tell you, he is going to be a solid pro. He works very hard, and is a heady ball player. Scouts knock his J, but he played the entire year on two bad ankles which effected his shot a bit. He’ll be a solid pick for you guys.
I gotta take issue with Rosen’s B- for Ben’s offense. He’s got at least a Q+. He has regressed so far in these playoffs that he looks like a Pleistocene era version of himself. Click my “FARLANE” for the latest NBA comic featuring Big Blame … I mean Big Ben.
Shaq, on the other hand, seems to have discovered that fountain of youth Ponce de Leon was seeking in the wilds of Florida.
