WHO SHOT MAMBA IPHONE

Isiah Thomas is well respected

steve nash 005.pngWe’ve touched on this before, and now that the Knicks are entering another chaotic period, it’s time to have some fun with it again.

Once upon a time, Isiah Thomas bought the entre CBA. Within 18 months, he’d taken it from a thriving little league to bankruptcy. The former owners of the organization have never made a secret of the fact they hate Zeke, and with his imminent ascension to Head Coach of the NYK, they’re speaking their minds on said hatred once again.

“[Thomas] will get to coach the guys he got and they’re not very good. Who will he blame this time around?” asks Rich Coffey, the former general manager of the CBA’s Fort Wayne Fury. “They’ve got the highest payroll in basketball and the worst team. On top of that $125 million (payroll) they have to pay a luxury tax. Now you’re going to take the architect of that and put him on the floor to coach the team.”

“Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.”

What’s it like to sit in a room with Zeke right now? Hopefully there’s a press conference soon where this all becomes offical, so we can see.

Really though, it has to be awkward. The only thing we can equate it to is like when you get arrested for underage drinking and your parents have to come pick you up at the police station.

You just want to die, and you feel like a total ass. Plus you’re terrified they’re going to find out about the 3-year old son you secretly have, and that he’s drunk, too.

Not only that, but he secretly has a son, who’s also drunk. It’s like you’ve taken your nice little family unit, and you’ve turned it on its head. Suddenly mom and dad are great-grandparents with three generations of alcoholics, and one of them invented a machine that allows toddlers to reproduce.

That’s exactly how Isiah feels every single time he talks to anyone.

Yeah, great picture! I guess Zeke could end up with his own reality show since he has enough bs going on. It might ACTUALLY be interesting for a few days but would eventually get old.

What better way to have the NYK self destruct with Zeke who couldn’t coach a Youth Basketball team.

When Sam got that 8 second violation last night he went from a cheesy smile to a frown in about milli-second…I for one was terrified he might send a death ray upon the arena, not just the ref.

Dude those things you do are great. I like the pie charts.

The less you start thinking about the Knicks as a “basketball team” and more as a “lovable comedy ensemble” the easier it is to live in New York.
