NBA at the Movies: Poseidon
Published by The Cavalier May 8th, 2006 in Kobe Bryant, Movies, Who Shot Mamba?When we came up with the whole Who Shot Mamba? film idea, we really just thought it’d be a blast to make and show everyone. We’ve thought the same thing all along with Mamba’s ongoing identity crisis.
Little did we know that in the wake of Game 7, this might be a real issue we’re going to need to explore. Everyone seems to have an opinion on whether Kobe tanked it or what in the the second half, and honestly, it’s hard to figure one way or the other. ESPN’s Chris Broussard thinks the dude’s brain is seriously, seriously screwy.
Alas, thanks to our fancy Hollywood lifestyle, we got into a preview screening of Poseidon the other day, and lo and behold, who was there? He seemed fine to us, other than a little bit of talking to himself. Who doesn’t do that now and then?

Gotta say I am still very much looking forward to this! Seems like everytime you bring it up, it gets better and better. Can’t wait.
In a very strange way, it actually has something to say now. Not that it’s not completely ridiculous, but there are “layers”.

Well I will end up donating again because I am gonna get a shirt sometime this week. Keep up the good work though and let’s just hope the Cavs have something to say tomorrow in game 2.
Does anyone else think that this ESPN Insider is bullshit? I have been an ESPN member forever, I subscribe to the magazine, I play in their fantasy leagues, I click on their advertisers…but I have to pay to find out what Broussard has to say?!?
