Have you all seen that Kay Jewelers commercial where the kids sing “You’re – the – greatest – mom – in – the – world – Happy – Mother’s – Day…”?
If you haven’t, you should rent it, because it’s really nice, and whatever little kid band they got to jam for that is terrific. Normally, we’re not into little kid bands, but on the rare occasion when we find one we like, we follow their career through to adulthood.
This has never actually happened, but then again, we’re believers and optimists.
If we can get on-topic for a second, Steve Nash might be out tonight for Game 1, as MVP2 has an owie on his ankle. We careth not, as this series ain’t what it was supposed to be, anyway.
You see, the Clippers have the ability to do what the Lakers could not, and that’s play like the Lakers did in Games 2-3-4 of the Lakers-Suns series for a whole series. They can do it better, too. If you thought that was a little jumbled, you really need to listen when we tell you that we can’t write well.
As has been our Round 2 habit, we dropped a note on one of the participants. (Click it to read it.)

That is a great commercial. I think the little-girl lead singer really sells it – even though she’s not singing into the microphone.
My money says Stephen, with a “ph”, plays tonight. Glad to see you got your shift key back from that pesky German.
That commercial is one of those that’s probably been on 800 times, and I’ve always been aware of it, but today was the first time I actually watched it and paid attention.
yeah good call on nash. 31/12, too bad he’s all banged up, huh? if the clips can’t win when brand plays like that, good luck getting this one to a game 5.
