It’s also funny how she likens throwing up seven times a day to “putting a sledgehammer to your vocal cords.” It’s funny how the writer leaves it to us, the readers, to determine whether that means it is similar to being hit in the vocal cords with a sledgehammer, or just having a sledgehammer laid gently on top of the vocal cords.

You’re right. The end of that McPhee article is hilarious. It wasn’t that she couldn’t eat or keep the food down, but her problem was in handling the food. I had thumbs surgically implanted on my hands for the sole purpose of food handlement.

By the way, this is the funniest website I have ever come across. I just read the Vince Young Wonderlic test post in the YAY archives and it is the funniest thing I have read in years.

How did Bulemia do at the World Cup? Didn’t they have to tie or tie against the Anorexians to get to the next round?

The gun to the head comment was hilarious. A guy from my old neighborhood misunderstood what a shotgun wedding was all about. He went up to a woman with a shotgun and said, “Marry me or die!” He was arrested and is doing 10 to life for that one. His public defender, being a lowly public defender, told the judge his client would prefer to do 10 instead of life. The judge just rolled his eyes. Man, life is pretty weird sometimes.
