Like the beginning of the NCAA season. The real games start Friday. And I'm thoroughly stoked. (And yeah, there's no hope for the US team. I predict they will get out of their group - barely - but Brazil ain't losing this summer.) The real games start Friday. And I’m thoroughly stoked.

Or those commercials ESPN has been running, often during NBA games. Anyway, it looks pretty gloomy for the US team, as it first has to finish top two in a very talented round-robin group (Italy, Czech Rep, & Ghana) and as second place finishers they would be rewarded with facing Brazil in the second round. (like anyone cares) Or, you could have just been having nightmares about Manu Ginobli...kicking Raja Bell in the face.
