I think Dirk deserves it more then Wade because Wade has more time to achieve a ring. Even if the Heat win that isn’t going to put Wade in a legends club. You don’t just become a legend because you have a ring. There are plenty of legends/hall of famers without rings and just as many regular peeps that have rings but aren’t legends. Wade is a great player but isn’t going to become a Magic Johnson/legend over night because of a victory in the finals.

Still like Mavs in 6.

why is it that NBA bloggers always seem to think that everyone is up to date on popular television culture? The only television watching I do is NBA. Thats why I read this stuff on the internet instead of watching Sportscenter for an hour just to see one thirty second clip of My team hosting a layup drill on their home floor (blazers, and no im not bitter)

Unless you live in Dallas, rooting against an old, spry, last-stand Shaq is unpossible. And wouldn’t it be awesome to see Wade win one at the start of his career like Magic did? It elevates the whole league if he’s already a defending champion after three years, suddenly he’s in the legend club as opposed to a more boring ‘possible maybe hopeful’ candidate in the hypothetical future.
