As Al Harrington madness builds, a few NBA players have been able to pull themselves away from the newsfeed and broaden their horizons this summer.
For example, Lakers SF Luke Walton is doing a guest spot on The Young and the Restless.
We have no link to anything regarding this other than a blurb on the front page of NBA.com, and Luke’s IMDB page lists only the following.
Himself – filmography
1. “The 2004 NBA Finals” (2004) (mini) TV Series …. Himself (Forward – LA Lakers)
2. “Bill Walton’s Long, Strange Trip” (2003) TV Series …. Himself
How he got such sought after roles as these, we have no idea – there were literally thousands of actors here in LA vying for the part of “Himself” back when they were casting The 2004 NBA Finals: The Movie.
Speaking of movies, you know (of course) that Who Shot Mamba? is nicely underway, and your first chance to get involved comes next Saturday, August 5th.
As we mentioned in the link there, this is your chance to meet Inflatable Ben Wallace live and in person. What we haven’t mentioned is that this will also be your chance to be introduced to our old myspace friend sandwich.
If you’re really lucky, you may even get to take a bite of him. Just don’t call him Trevor – we’ve been doing that to all the Mamba actors, and we think that’s why everyone hates us so much on set.

Did IMDB accidentally just leak the fact that the 2004 NBA Finals were fake? And instead of actually playing the games they were acted?
I think we’re onto something.
Somebody explain this Floyd Landis thing to me – so he has naturally high testosterone – fine. How come he’s never tested high for it before then?
I wish I could get my hands on some extra testosterone, I can’t grow facial hair for shit
I was under the impression that testosterone levels fluctuate. For example, if you’re watching figure skating, you’re testosterone level is going to be non-existent. If you’re actually participating in a sport, I would think your body would produce more testosterone.
His ride on the day that he tested positive was infuckincredible. I don’t find it too hard to believe that his body went into overdrive and produced more testosterone to get him through the stage.
The body can do incredible things when pressed.
He didn’t test positive for high testosterone, just a high ratio. Apparently alchohol and cortisone can cause your epitestosterone levels to go down and cause a false positive, as the ratio goes higher than the 4:1 that they limit.
Um…is it weird that everytime I see the profile of a white guy on this page, I instantly think it’s Skeets?
This could have seriously negative repercussions in real life…thanks Cav.
