Just like good buddy Dirk Nowitzki, Suns PG Steve Nash has cut off his famously long hair.
Yes, he showed up at his International Canadian Basketball Camp for International Canadians with a buzzcut.
While we would’ve preferred a nice accountant type of cut with a fine part on the left, a buzzcut can be just as fun for everyone. (If he’s ever going to become an accountant, this isn’t gonna fly, though.)
“I just cut it,” shrugged the unpretentious 32-year-old Phoenix Suns star. “I don’t really have a rhyme or reason. I felt like taking it off.”
“The theme of being a success at anything is the same,” he said. “If you want to be a good basketball player you have to have similar themes to wanting to be a good person. I don’t think you have to be a jerk to be a good basketball player. I especially believe you don’t have to be a jerk to be better and improve. At the same time, find a way to be humble, find a way to laugh at yourself and really enjoy it.”
All that other junk aside (What’s “humble” mean, btw? Anyone?), let’s go back to “I just cut it.”
Sure you did, Steve. No joke – we have a theory. This is all part of the relaunch of the Steve Nash Video Blog. This is the perfect springboard – take this and run with it.
Who Shot Mamba? be damned – we’re throwing all the cash into it. Extensive research has shown that the Steve Nash Video Blogger is actually right here in LA, which means all we have to do is something, and that will lead to something else.
When that’s accomplished, then a third something can take place, culminating in the ultimate something. That’s when things will happen, and we can’t wait.
(Side note: Guaranteed Steve did this himself – it’s like something guys do. Somewhere inside, we think we’re making some kind of dramatic statement about ourselves, so you go in the bathroom and look at yourself real hard in the mirror, and whisper things like “What are you doing with your life?” and “Who are you anymore…I don’t even know who I’m looking at right now…”)

not only does he look skinnier now, he looks sick
maybe runs he too fast, gives him motion sickness making him hurl.
Like Samson . Steve’s power comes from his hair .
Now he’s just an ordinary baller .He’ll need a lot of Red Bull to strengthen himself.
I’m in absolute shock. The sheer amount of comedic potential Nash has destroyed with that haircut is incalculable.
Click my “FARLANE” for the reaction from NBA Comix.
I’m distraught. I don’t even know why, but I’m upset…

He looked like a serial killer with the greasy long hair.
This might be a little too short, but anything is better than before.
Maybe now he’ll get a tan.
Hey Steve! I met you thru Domino here in Dallas at the Plano Rec center.
A fool may ask more questions in an hour than a wise man can answer in seven years… Garnett
Leave the poor dude!
