Nate Robinson is doing the Chicken Noodle Soup
Published by The Cavalier August 27th, 2006 in New York Knicks, Music, Dancing in the Back, Things We Like, KidsSometimes you start to feel old because your birthday is imminent. Other times it’s because your sibling has children, who are like, alive and growing and stuff like that.
Other times it’s because you just don’t get something. We were reading Dime’s Smack this weekend, and came across this.
We already told you about Nate Robinson, Jamal Crawford and Brandon Roy playing on the same team at Rucker Park this week. What our guy who was at the game forgot to mention was that in between killing Kareem Reid and dropping Lance Stephenson with crossovers, Nate Rob was doing the “Chicken Noodle Soup” dance all night. Will he break it out next season with the Knicks? And if you don’t know about the Chicken Noodle Soup, look it up. It’s the hottest track in New York this summer…
Well, we didn’t know what the Chicken Noodle Soup was, besides the obvious. Although we’re hoping Zeke keeps things loose this season, we’re gonna go ahead and assume Nate isn’t breaking out cans of soup during games.
One YouTube play session later…
Couple things - is that actually considered a song? We’re not kidding when we say we could do that, including the awesome bicycle bell noise and the ongoing prison horn.
Second, is it required there be two people present? And do they have to shove each other out of the way to get their Noodle Soup on one at a time? Can two people Chicken Noodle Soup at once?
More than anything, will Nate Robinson PLEASE Chicken Noodle Soup during a game next year?

The dance looks like something Kevin Federline would do and song sounds like a crappy Federline song.
Happy b-day Cav, and, actually, that dance was invented by white people 65 years ago. They called it the Charleston, and it was danced by “Flappers”.
Just awesome. Happy B-Day! Hurray!
Exactly how old does that make you?
