USA v Greece VII: The Semi-Final Battle

Determined not to be spoiled (like has happened with every other game), we’re up and watching Team USA play live. Remember, we’re West Coast, so it’s not like we’re up at 3:30am.
Anyway, we just wanted to take a moment to note that the Greeks actually have a dude named Popodopolis.

Nice display of “me first” basketball by the US. I’m happy that LeBron James has, once again, come up short.

I will not be happy until LeBron is losing while playing for the Knicks.
If only Team USA kept Gilbert Arenas (by far the most selfish basketball player this side of Cleveland), they might have lost earlier in the tournament!
And it’s not the entire country that’s losing. It’s the multi-million dollar athletes that lost. I don’t feel like I lost anything when Team USA lost. Now if I had been penciled in at PF, then I would be saddened by the loss. Until then, I’m not on Team USA except for when NBA Live ‘07 comes out and I create Team USA myself.
