The Knicks are winners

Isiah Thomas

Well, the feel good story of the year is well under way.

We still can’t believe we’re supporting this movement, but Isiah’s Knicks won their first game of their season last night. Not only that, but they managed to do it in triple overtime, on the road. (The victim? Memphis.)

There were smiles and hugs and laughing all around. Naturally, there was also a slight sense of relief, as NY actually had a 19-point lead they blew in the fourth quarter before all that OT stuff.

“We got out of some of the things we do, which is expected,” Thomas said. “It was nothing that we were doing. It was everything that they were doing right. They have some good players.”

“I was pleased with the whole team,” Thomas said. “They gave a gutsy effort. There were some crazy plays at the end and we could’ve caved in. We kept grinding it out.”

Good for Zeke – last year, Larry Brown would’ve taken that same moment to rip his team to shreds and openly question whether he’d wasted the last thirty years of his life.

Positive reinforcement does work, and we’re going to start implementing such tactics into the site. From now on, we’ll be patting the imaginary employees like Greg Anthony on the back all the time.

NOTE: Nate Robinson may have broken out the Chicken Noodle Soup Dance – we can’t be sure, but this is evidence worth examining.

NOTE 2: Renaldo – 8 minutes, 4 rebounds, 4 fouls.

Q-Rich had a hellofagame last night. So did Eddy Curry…Very efficient…But Jamal Crawford, Channing Frye and Steve Francis were HORRIBLE! If they get Three of their top 7 players to play well every night they will be a pretty good team. I don’t think you’ll see Francis, Crawford, and Frye all play that horribly together in one game again this season. But maybe I’m wrong.

The Knicks will make the playoffs!!!

Pah. It was just one game. Against the Pau-less Memphis Gasols.

Like JB notes, the NBA’s Top Individual for now is Travis Outlaw.

Still! Only 38 more wins and I’ll make good on my 40$ bet on the NY Zekes making the playoffs. Good!

the knicks are a highly motivated bunch .you will notice that they got their groove back .there is swagger in their moves , spring in their steps and pervert woody allen back in the stands !

As long as David Lee continues to play the Knicks could be in the playoffs.

Thanks for the Renaldo update. As long as he stays on the bench, the Knicks will make the playoffs.
