Brian Cook is dominant again

In a better than predicted season for the LA Lakers, there are a few things that stand out and scream, “Hey! This is why it’s happening!”

One is the understated coaching of Phil Jackson. Another is the team-first approach taken by Kobe Bryant.

A third might be the play of forward Brian Cook, who is now averaging 34 points and 56 rebounds per game after his 25-10 performance last night in an OT victory against the Heat.

Brian Cook is so good and so consistant, sometimes he even gets more rebounds than there are in the game, like that time he got 92 out of a possible 65 rebounds against New Jersey.

Just another night at the arena for Brian.

“It was just another night at the arena,” said Cook, who was making out with several supermodels and Cuttino Mobley. “Sometimes I get 25 rebounds, and sometimes I get ten. That one time I got 92 rebounds, and there were only a possible 65 rebounds to be had.”

“I love playing the game of basketball.”

Yeah, if you can’t tell we didn’t watch the game, and only mildly skimmed the recaps. Apparently it was a new classic, and TNT is going to be showing right alongside Back to the Future and Top Gun for years.

Call us whatever you want, but we watched the Golden Globe awards instead. We like movies and we like prizes, okay? We like watching people get prizes, ’cause they’re always excited.

They’re always like, “Yeah, my movie got a prize! Now that prize will enable me to do other things that may inspire more prize winning!” It’s an interesting cycle, plus Tim Allen was there and sounded like he was in the process of swallowing a squirrel.

Now, do we truly need to feel a need to apologize for this? Yes, somewhat. Do you need to accept the apology? Probably. Will anything change around here because of this exchange?

END OF POST.

Don’t worry dude, the Suns game last night was way better anyways.
