Kobe Bryant is suspended

by The Cavalier on January 30, 2007 · 7 comments

We missed parts of Lakers/Spurs on Sunday – actually, we missed all of it.

What this means is we totally didn’t get to see Kobe’s return to attacking people in their faces. (The most famous of these attacks – the infamous “Raja Face” incident of last year’s Playoffs.)

Anyway, Kobe apparently laid a nice elbow to the face of Manu Ginobli, something many people would be willing to give an award to him for.

Instead? Suspension from on high! Kobe and Coach Pheel = not pleased.

“I haven’t seen a precedence for this. There’s unintentional elbows that take place in a game all the time. I’m blown away by it. It makes no sense,” Bryant said.

“I have been a little disappointed with how Kobe has been treated as a premier player,” [Coach Pheel] said.

Yeah, so the Lakers are starting that big 8-game trip tonight in NYC against the NYK, and they’re now without their STAR.

How will they fare? We’re guessing that with a healthy Lamar Odom and the rest of the crew, they’ll be just fine. These are the Knicks, after all, and we all saw how the LAL did in the early-going with a limited or absentee Kobe.

In short, we really have nothing to say about this – it should’ve been an EXPLOSION, and we’ve once again shamed ourself, and embarrassed you.

It’s a bummer.

Argentinians dont say ole!, those are the spaniards. There’s a big difference between them. We the argentinians are sexier and smarter.

Argentinians say “Che”. And Bony, it’d be “La” if pain is feminine – which it most ceratinly is in my experience.

The Cavalier seems awfully uppity lately… what with the poor recent performance by his hero and his ouchy big toe… the world will be back in balance again on Feb. 4 as the fighting MoonDogs take on the Boys In Blue… don’t you worry your little head over it.

Yo, nice game by the Cavaliers last night. Honest. Too bad my boys couldn’t pull their heads out of their asses in the first quarter, otherwise they would have won also.
