WHO SHOT MAMBA IPHONE

Allen Iverson is brave and kind

With the limited number of games they’ve yet to play together, yesterday everyone in Denver was still wondering how this Iverson/Melo pairing is going to really work out.

What could’ve helped move the needle over toward “great!” would’ve been a game night the last against the Celtics or maybe even the Sonics – one of the NBA’s two bad, green-hued teams.

Unfortunately, DEN was headed into a road game in San Antonio against the dreaded silver and black and French. It didn’t go well at all – they were blown out, and AI scored a decidely non-hefty nine points.

“That was a tough one for me,” Iverson said. “The shots that I took, I know that I can hit those shots with my eyes closed. Maybe I should have closed them. Usually when I come back from an injury, I still have my rhythm. But I didn’t have it.”

“It was a real bad loss. It’s just one you forget about. It humbles you.”

He’s being so brave and kind with those statements, but we can tell you right now that this is a loss that will haunt Allen Iverson until the day he dies.

How do we know this? We don’t – we’re making it up because we’re a lying liar.

Anyway, Nuggets guard JR Smith got an ouchy in this one, which isn’t good for anyone, especially with the Nugs sitting at .500, only two games up from being out of the Playoffs altogether.

Of course, chasing them in the 9 & 10 spots are the Clippers & Warriors, so only if we chose to get overdramatic could we pretend they’re not getting into the postseason. That said, with George Karl at the helm and a group of historically ornery guys on the squad, anything could happen.

Including the entire city of Denver getting hit by this asteroid in 2036. This sucks – goodbye, everyone.

The inconsistent spelling of hallelujah is creepy

Interesting use of the hyphen, however.

I would like to hear a faithful out-loud reading of that post, I don’t even know if you could yell loud enough to do the last line justice

yeah, I can’t imagine anyone yell-spelling “P-E-A-C-E” with such enthusiasm as those 60 or so exclamation points suggest.
