leroy then you agree with me...

The Cavs have a coach who insists on trying to play a style that's ill-suited to his personnel.

It's a little silly to say the roster isn't the problem. This team was constructed to mirror San Antonio and Detroit, teams built around the NBA's two best low post defenders and the NBA's two best backcourts.

The Cavs have a terrible low post defender and probably the NBA's worst backcourt.

Screw that notion of Cav fans giving up on the team and rooting for the Lakers. C'mon... the Cavs try to imitate the <b><i> PISTONS, their sauvy cousins up north.

I myself will catch any Cavs game I can... can't get enough of Amanda on the Dance Squad!

At this point you'd be better off watching the Clippers, and the Clippers are insanely boring. The Cavs have driven me to eat mass birthday cake and hamburgers.

The assiest thing (that's right- I SAID "ASSIEST") about the PA announcer thing was that he was doing that to the entertainment of nobody as the crowd had already left and was on their second Superbowl PreGame PreShow beer on their overstuffed and comfy leather couches.

I don't think I'll be going to the Q for a game anytime soon. As has been noted somewhere*, the team is not fun to watch, and it would seem the fans are continually assaulted with the nattering of idiots at volume levels that can be fairly compared to those used by the CIA in sleep-depravation torture tactics. Perhaps all the money they would save by turning the PA down would be better spent on a point guard.

*everywhere.

I totally agree. From a guy who has watched almost every game of the Lebron era, I am just so dissapointed this year. Thought it would be much better and it is just brutal to watch.

If I were the coach, this is what I would do:

1. Shorten the rotation to 9 max! That means that Wesley, Snow, are permanently on the bench. Pollard only gets out there if there is an injury (and I like him). This would make the rotation:

PG - Boobie, DJ (no more playing him at the 2)
SG - Hughes, Sasha
SF - Bron, Sasha
PF - Gooden, AV, Marshall
C - Z, AV

2. Bron at PF sometimes

I think we need to mess with the lineups as well. Let's have an DG/LH/SP/LBJ/AV lineup. Look what phoenix did. I know, they have a real PG, but I think this would enhance our athleticism and speed of that lineup.

Plus think of the matchup problems with PF's having to guard bron.

3. Full Court Press!

If we aren't playing with intensity, make them go baseline to baseline and press! Are you telling me that for 5 minute stretches in a game that having boobie, hughes and bron would not get a couple steals?!?

4. Make Lebron move without the ball

literally take him out if he dribbles for an entire shot clock. Also, teams are following detroit's lead and playing basically a box and 1 (semi zone) when he has the ball. That means we should have either Boobie, Sasha or DJ out there (2 of the 3 at least

5. Hughes

I might take him out of the starting lineup for now. Play Sasha instead. Get his head and Jumpshot straight. He takes too many bad shots and is better on a running team.

that's it off the top of my head, what would ya'll do?
