Kobe Bryant loves pancakes and magic

Kobe Bryant

In preparation for the rematch between the Lakers and Wizards tonight in Washington, it’s vitally important to dive into the minds of the two biggest stars on the court.

These are, of course, Gilbert Arenas and Kobe Bryant.

(Quick history lesson – back in December, Gil scored 60 on the Lakers in LA, and then Kobe called him a “chucker”. After that, Gilbert started yelling “quality shots!” when he shot for a short time.)

Anyway, Arenas, while reiterating his admirtion for Kobe, has already stated that he’ll be in attack mode. Kobe, on the other hand, says in his latest KB24 DOT COM blog post that individual matchups don’t drive him anymore. Also, this:

I’m already tired of hotel food and I’m craving a caramel/peanut apple not to mention my wife’s pancakes, bacon and eggs with cream of wheat and orange juice!

I’m a huge Potter fan, so to pass time I’ve been reading “Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix”. I just finished it last night and now I’m starting “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” . I’m not a big reader, in fact that book is by far the biggest book I have ever read!!! But it became a challenge to finish it!!! Not to mention its a GREAT book.

Y’know, for a self-proclaimed huge Potter fan, you’d think the man would’ve gotten to those books more than 3 or 4 years (2 or 3?) after they were released.

Or perhaps he’s just prepping for this summer’s 7th and last book, “Harry Potter and the Magic Caramel/Peanut Apple”.

We really have no idea why it’s so funny to think about Kobe sitting down to eat a delicious caramel/peanut apple, along with that freaking huge breakfast. Like we picture him tucking the napkin into his shirt and being really dainty about the whole thing.

None of this makes any sense – we’re still flu-ridden. The game is for League Pass people only – unless you’re in DC or LA, in which case it’ll be on your local stations. WTF – like we’re the TV Guide? Did you see TV Guide is like a full-size magazine now? Weird. Wait – who needs a TV Guide anyway? We bet this happened like 3 years ago, didn’t it?

Somebody help us get well.

I crave my wife’s pancakes (with cream) when I’m on the road too.
