This has been rumored for what feels like seven or eight years, and it looks like it might finally go down. See if you can figure out what we’re talking about through this fun word game below - stare at it for 30 seconds, and the answer should appear.

Yeah, so Steve has barely played since coming back from his knee injury, and is now making the same type of awesome statements he spilled last year when he compared playing for the NYK to his mother dying. This time he’s taking a more political angle, however.

“I guess that was the way the game was going,” he said. “When I was out there, we were up, but when I came out, we were down. That’s when the lead kind of went a different way. I wasn’t that mad. What’s it called, the terrorist alert, when they say the security alert is like orange? That’s what my frustration is now.”

We’ve long been a student of how players can talk their way into trades and buyouts. If you remember, we’ve tried to instill a sense of purpose into both Jermaine O’Neal and Paul Pierce so far this year.

While neither of them are willing to really give the full effort, Steve is on the right path here. We’d recommend a direct shot at ownership or Coach Zeke to really push it forward faster.

At that point, he can go on his merry way, millions of dollars richer and free to sign with…wait for it…we’re gonna say it…it’s gonna spout from the keyboard…Cleveland. That, friends, is the face of desperation, and it is ours.

(In reality, he’d probably go home to Houston, if they can somehow get Coach Jeff to agree to a brain transplant.)

I, for one, would like to welcome Stevie Franchise as our savior

Trading (anything at all) for Francis? No.

Signing a recently cut Francis? Yes.

Unfortunately, the Cavs will still have Larry Hughes. Can you imagine a backcourt of Hughes and Francis? The shot selection alone will probably drive me insane.

(the gentleman from hudson. I like it)

Dammit, give the Knicks Eric Snow for Francis. Isiah is NOT BUYING HIM OUT.

I miss Steve Francis’ co… ballhandling skills
