Dwyane Wade is coming back

by The Cavalier on March 5, 2007 · 11 comments

While plagiarizing our latest post, which was to be about Michael Redd and Ben Gordon’s combined 100 point scoring outburst in the CHI victory over MIL lasterday, we came across a little news item which may be of interest to those who follow this NBA.

Dwyane Wade has decided to forego surgery for now and attempt some rehab, in the hopes he can be back for the Playoffs.

“My decision for the next two to three weeks is to rehab with the possibility of coming back, but with no guarantees,” Wade said. “I’ll find out after therapy and rehab how my body responds to things.”

Translated, that means, “I’m waiting to see if Shaq keeps playing good.”

Realistically, this is the only logical thing to do, but we still wish he’d say one way or the other. If he says he’s coming back, it may be inspires the team. If he says it’s surgery time, ‘Toine is clear to start conquering the buffet as early as tomorrow morning.

What’s most interesting to us is how we (being us) assume that he’s trying to lie or deceive us, we, and you, as well. Why not just take him at his word?

There really isn’t a good reason other than the machinations of Coach Pat, and depending on your level of friendship with your friends, that’s either sad or happy. Perhaps somewhere inbetween. The life, the sand, the gardens. They’re all around us.

Behold.

(Why are all these places making a connection between the Redd/Gordon scoring spree and Wilt’s 100 point game? The two events are completely unrelated outside of math. There’s no significance.)

I don’t often advocate hard fouls on guys, but I hope that if/when Detroit plays Miami in the playoffs that Dale Davis hits up Wade with another one of those fouls that are called flagrant..

Michael Redd turned down the Cavs because he wanted to lead his own thing in M’waukee. How’s that going?

Such is the luck of Cleveland TVBrain. It’s cold in Cleveland. Yea its cold in Milwaukee too but Cleveland is also unlucky. Cold Unlucky= worse than just cold. Cleveland makes me sad.

Sometimes I dream that I was back in Cleveland. I wake weeping.

The only reason why we the media are connecting Redd’s 52 and Gordon’s 48 is because Wilt’s 100 point anniversary was over the weekend. No other reason.
